Japp! Husse, Morrison och Knuble var helt outstanding. Kolla in highlights från 04/05 så går det inte att blunda för det. Husse kom 2a i poängligan, 1 poäng efter Zetterberg som hade spelade 16 matcher mer....det säger en hel del...

Of course Gabby's kind of injury prone - as is Demitra but they are good hocket players when they wanna be...

but honestly right now I wouldn't wanna exchange those three in LHC's top line for any foreign players - I think it's good for the sport of hockey in Sweden that we have teams where the top lines have all Swedes in them - and the chemistry of our top line thus far this season has been unbelievable - like mentioned before I don't think we've had a better top line except for during the lockout when we had Huselius (come home! Keenan hates you - we love you!) Brendan Morrison and Mike Knuble bringing in the points - that with Henrik Talinder in the D would have taken us all the way if it weren't for some unfortunate business along the way which lost us two of those players. :evil:

But to make a long answer a lot shorter Rocket - I think the Wild has to face up to the fact that you guys didn't re-sign Weinhandl - at least your G-tending's been solid so far 😛

Och jag inte är glad om det. :cry: Jad tänka den Wild gjorde ett fel med den. De har en hård tid att sätta pucken i det nät så vad gör dem gör. ..let en naturligt målställning gå, därför att han inte gjorde väl, som en fjärdekedja kontrollant. Jag vivlar även skulle Gabby gör bra lage för goda däri för.

Inget av den Wilds kedja verkar för att ha mycket kemi sent. Den Wild kunde använda en kedja med kemi liknande Weinhandl, Mårtensson, och Håkanson har. Från highlights som jag har sett, kedja det klickar riktigt.

Du kan ha Gabby and Demo. Som dig sade, den är båda den benägen skada. :roll:

I agree - I am actually having fun trying to decipher what some of the things are meant to say - So keep doing your Swedish thing if you want Rocket - If you are trying to learn Swedish it's good practice - and if not - well apparently it annoys some of us - so there's always that - have fun with it 🙂

Glajd: Det verkar vara en uppenbar översättning av nått program o dom översätter juh så jävla dåligt att man i stället för lära sig bara blir lurad ju för fan (han alltså, inte vi) så att få texter översatta sen inklistrade i ett forum där inga påpekar felen o så, hur fan lär man sig skriva nått bättre då? Men är det så att han verkligen vill o försöker lära sig svenska så ska han väll forsätta att försöka skriva på det men tänkte i fall det inte va i hans intresse så kan han lika gärna skriva på engelska

jlj83 - I apologize that my Swedish is not up to par for you but I have only been studying the language for about six months now. I do know that most Swede's know English since a good friend of mine lives in northern Sweden. I must say too that I noticed you edited one of your posts but Glajd quoted the original one and your English isn't perfect either. :wink: I don't use a translator just several Swedish dictionaries which don't tell you how to use multiple meaning words in the correct context very well.

Thanks to all of you who have patience with my Swedish. I'm trying to get the sentence structure right. But maybe I should use English when I'm tired. And please, by all means, feel free to correct me, otherwise I'll just keeping making the same mistakes. You have no idea how long it can take me to write a few sentences so any pointers is greatly appreciated. 🙂

Back to the subject now - Tonight the Wild are playing San Jose who happens to be one of the best defensive teams in the NHL and since the Wild can't even buy a goal right now can they borrow a few other LHC players? Besides Weinhandl, Mårtensson, and Håkanson the Wild could use Joakim to fill in for Koivu and Zackrisson and Blomdahl for their grit. People here talk about how Swedish hockey players are soft and won't fight but believe me that fight Zackrisson was in Saturday was by far better then some of the ones I've seen in the NHL lately. Holding one anothers jersey and throwing a punch every now and then is nothing compared to seeing guys really duke it out. You guys are lucky you don't have time zones to deal with. The game is in San Jose so it doesn't start in Minnesota until 9:30. :? It's gonna be another late night for me.

Okay, this is not funny anymore! Let's just switch the teams.

San Jose has one of the worst home records and the Wild have one of the better road records but they are getting whipped 4-0 at the end of the second period. Bernier already has two goals. Please not another hat trick against the Wild. LHC might be struggling a bit on the road but at least they put in an effort. Any sign of effort from the Wild would be nice.

Gabby maybe fast but if you look at their stats, Weinhandl is doing a much better job for his team then Gabby is.
Weinhandl - 27 games, 16 goals, 14 assists, 30 points, +4
Gabby - 24 games, 10 goals, 13 assist, 23 points, +2
Gabby has missed enough games for me to have lost count due to injuries. Weinhandl missed 1 + 2 1/2 periods due to a bad call not an injury. I won't even discuss Demitra's stats but you can bet Mårtensson's are better.

And now a sissy fight where the guys more or less just hang on to each other.

Well - if you had seen Swedish media lately you would have known that the debate is on as to whether we should even be allowed to tackle in Swedish hockey... It's so ridiculous it makes me wanna cry...

One of LHC's more physical players tackles an opponent fair and square but unfortunately the opponent is young and unobservant and gets injured and then the other team starts crying in the media and now there's a witch hunt on - we would love to see some fighting here that isn't an automatic MP - it's very seldom you see a good fight in Swedish hockey unfortunately...

As for the Wild's road record... well LHC's first road game this season - a whopping 9-1 loss to a team which after that went into a slump, kept losing so much they threw out the coach and is now struggling to keep a play off spot.. so I don't know man - while our home record this season has been excellent a road record of 5-2-7 isn't exactly anything to brag about - after many away games our fans have voiced exactly the same concerns about LHC that you are voicing about the Wild - they are playing without any energy and they shouldn't even have strapped on their skates because they aren't really using them etc.

Also - your season is like 30 games longer than ours - so slumps are expected - I mean look at Ottawa - won everything at the start of the season and then their game started sucking for no apparent reason - except that Gerber seemed to have lost any skills he had previously exhibited - I dunno what the Wild's road record is - but I've seen them winning a lot of games this season - and Backstrom has been solid in goal - as has Harding as far as I've seen. Stop whining 😛

Haha Rocket, please go on writing in swedish, it's, I dunno, I don't wanna make fun of you but I kinda like sitting trying to understand what you're trying to say (which I always do, there's no doubt about that).

Little ot there, sry about that. I apreciate that you think so highly of our players but I really don't think they'd do such a good job playing in the NHL, with a few exceptions maybe; I for one would love to see how Tony Mårtensson would hold up against tougher defenders. Of course I'd give everything for him to stay here in Linköping anyways so... =)

The Wild's record is; home 10-5-0, away 6-7-2, last 10 games 5-5-0. They are doing better then a lot of the other teams but lately our skilled players are not showing uo for the games. I think Wes Walz retiring may have some effect on the team and Koivu and Parrish being injured definitley do. Backstrom has been good but he gets no help from the defense. Harding has also been good but has ended up on the losing end because of the lack of support from the other guys on the ice. Almost all of the teams so far this year have not been consistant with the exception of Detroit. Which I find funny since they have the most Swedish players on their team out of all the NHL clubs.

It's not just me tired of the Wild's lack of energy. Here is a blog from the Star Tribune newspaper. This really sums up The Wild lately. They went throught this last year about the same time.
