Dear Linkopings HC Hockey Fans,

I am writing to you in an effort to solve a puzzle I recently began. Over the past few years I decided to put together a collection of hockey trading cards from all the former University of Wisconsin Badgers that have ever played NHL, Minor League, Juniors or European Pro Hockey. One of my favorite Badgers of the recent past was Barry Richter, who played for your team during the 2001-03 seasons. What I was wondering was if you may have a copy of a his possible team issued "trading card" or postcards from his time spent with your team as it is one of the final pieces to my "puzzle" that I am working on. My search has reached desperate proportions and I would consider it a special gift if you were able to assist in my quest.

Trading cards (or in swedish "hockeykort") was popular when I was a kid about 10-15 years ago, I donÂ´t know how big itÂ´s today...

I don't know if we can help you with that one, but I can direct you to a homepage that probably can help you more than we can. The page is called "Hockeykort.se" and is a swedish page where you may find what you are looking for.

no thats not the correct type of card...

what i mean is the postcard sized cards that the teams give away or sell to fans so they can have them signed by the players

i wish i knew how to show you what i mean..but i am not that computer savvy

In that case I guess that there only is one option left (unless someone here who has that card are willing to sell it to you, and I doubt that anyone here has got one of those).

My advice is to make contact with the club and ask if they have one of those that you can by. It's a long shot, I know. But at least it's a possibility.
